LOCKHART Business Advisors is a leading accounting and business advisory firm located in Tamworth on the North-West Slopes of New South Wales. Whilst a small boutique firm, the name "Lockhart" has a long-standing record of providing customised services to business, family groups and individuals.
The firm has its origin in the practice established by and named 'Allan J. Lockhart Chartered Accountant' on 17 February 1967. The first employee was Allan's wife Dawn. In June 1977 the firm acquired the long-established practice of R.H. Kimmorley & Co. in Narrabri managed by Michael Carrigan. In 1984 the firm was renamed Lockhart & Carrigan at which time Michael Carrigan and Wayne Lockhart were admitted as partners.
Allan Lockhart retired from public practice and Michael took the reins of the Narrabri practice in 1992. Wayne Lockhart continues as the Tamworth practice's Principal.
